Why we’re different

The Sherwood Park Farmer’s Market is a non-profit agricultural society dedicated to providing community members with quality local products and culture. The non-profit structure means that all income goes back into growing and improving the market. Our volunteer Board of Directors is responsible for selecting top vendors and ensuring they are offering the finest locally-produced products.

We are also proud to be certified by the Alberta Approved Farmer’s Market program. Alberta Approved Farmer’s Markets are independently operated and offer you the opportunity to connect directly with the farmer or artisan who produced the products. As part of the program, we are required to follow specific guidelines to ensure that the majority of our vendors make, bake or grow the products they sell.
