Where are you located?

From October 11 - Mid May we are located at 401 Festival Lane in the Strathcona County Community Centre, this is also where the Strathcona County library is located.  There is underground heated parking available as well as surface parking outside the main doors.

For the summer months - Mid May - October 4th we are located in the Festival Place parking lot, located at 100 Festival Way.

What is your 2017 season?

The 2017 season runs Wednesday's year round.

What are the market hours?

The farmers market runs from 4 pm until 8 pm.

What do I have to do to become a vendor?

Interested vendors are required to fill out an application form and forward it either via mail or email. All applications go before a vendor committee prior to approvall. Please allow 4-5 days for processing applications.

Do I have to have any permits to be a vendor?

No, your acceptance into the market is the only permit required by our board.  If you sell outside the market, you may be required to apply for permits through your local municipality.  If you sell food based products you will need to have your Farmers Market Food Safety Course.

What can I sell?

Vendors are allowed to sell any item that falls into the category of "You make it, you bake it, you grow it, you sell it".  Exceptions are BC Fruit or at the discretion of the board.

Do you provide tables or tents?

Vendors are required to provide their own table, tent, and setup for product display.  Your rental fee only pays for the space at Festival Place.

Can I busk at your market?

If you are interested in busking at the market, please fill out an application form available on this website.
